The entry to the holy city - a hymn for Palm Sunday

A hymn for Palm Sunday;

The entry to the holy city
On a donkey, in that hour,
Was an act of open challenge,
To the ones who held the power.

Chorus:
Hosanna in the highest heaven;
Jesus you have come to save.
Blessèd in the name of God and
Blessed to lift us from the grave.

The politics of such a moment;
Humble love and strength combined;
Not a passive bowing down, but
Sacrificial love defined.

The recognised symbolic action,
Of the lowly, righteous king;
Known by those who knew the prophets,
Sung by those who psalms would sing.

The declaration of a kingship;
Crownless and without a court;
Self defined and self denying;
Freedom found and costly bought.

This will work well to the tune of 'Love Divine', just with an added lead in note at the beginning of the verse and the chorus.
